Fans cannot wait to see Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan together again in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. Directed by Punit Malhotra, the ‘super fun yet poignant film’ according to producer Karan Johar, is slated for release on the 22nd of November, 2013! Not much is know about the story of the film, but we do hear that Kareena will be playing an social activist in the film. Besides that, well, we have to wait a bit longer to find out more, but here are some little tidbits we have learned.
The film’s shooting schedule is almost complete except for one song which will be shot after the monsoon season is over. The director tweeted, “Wrapped my 3rd sched today. Major part of the cast of GTPM wrapped for the film as well:) Such sweet people, such a wonderful time we had…Will miss u all. As for the film… Long break ahead. Now just one last sched post the monsoons:)))))))))))”
GTPM features music by the great Vishal-Shekhar and apparently Mika Singh has sung a killer track for the film. Mika said, “1st time singing for very talented @V1SH4L @5hekhar !! A kick ass song for @kjohar25 ‘s upcoming movie’ All three, Punit, Vishal and Shekhar, praised the singer for the track saying he totally rocked it! Punit revealed in a recent interview, “It’s a fun, shaadi/sangeet type of song. After long time we are getting into a full on Punjabi zone. The song is a blast and comes up when Imran visits Kareena in Delhi. I can’t tell you what the song is called or reveal the lyrics because that’s the punch!”
One of the last things on this schedule was the shooting for the big song with choreography by Remo D’Souza, Punit says we have to watch out for this one, “1st day of our “big” song. Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan, Remo and Mahesh are killing it!!!”
