Kohli, believes that it’s important for Indian films to be exposed to international festivals as it contributes to the growth of Bollywood cinema. “We are going to have premiers in London, Toronto and Dubai and numerous other, big and small cities visits in India. Film festivals such as Cannes, Stuttgart (Germany) or Melbourne help create awareness about Indian films all over the world. Of late, even foreigners are showing active interest in watching Bollywood films. When I was at Stuttgart last time, the Germans knew me! I was pleasantly surprised. I credit Yash Raj Films for marketing their film and hence popularizing Indian cinema in Europe,” adds Kohli.
