Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s assignment Heroine has received an A certificate from the Censor Board of Film Certification. ‘As expected got a “A” certificate from the censor board’ Bhandarkar happily tweets. He later clarified that the “A” certificate is for the trailer and not for the film. The film is roughly about what goes on behind the flashes of camera and the red carpet.

Although the film did have a little bit of trouble at the beginning as former heroine Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had to back down due to her pregnancy. Nonetheless Kareena Kapoor was pulled in by Bhandarkar to continue opposite Arjun Rampal.
From past successful films such as Fashion, Page 3 and Traffic Signal we can guess how good Heroine will be.
The film is all underway and ready with a trailer said to be released soon as the film itself hits cinemas this year in September.
