It’s raining Imran all over the news. The star has been out and about, ardently promoting his upcoming film I Hate Luv Storys which is all set to release this Friday, 2nd July. With promotions in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune as well as international cities of London & Dubai, the lead actor of the Karan Johar productions romantic-comedy is leaving no chances to fate.

The cast and crew are delighted at the responses they have been getting for the promos, music and trailers. After the industry has seen subsequent duds like Kites and recently Raavan, Bollywood is positively relying on this movie to set the cash registers ringing. Moreover, according to trade pundits, the movie and particularly lead actor Imran has everything going for him in terms of content, music, marketing and the Dharma Banner.

The suave nephew of perfectionist Aamir Khan who made his debut two years back with Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Naa is being touted as the next big thing. With light eyes and ‘the boy next door’ chocolate good looks, Imran is slowly rising to the throne of the country’s heartthrob. Amidst promoting his film, Imran is basking in the compliments and attention he is receiving for his look in the film. The actor who plays a womanizer in the film coyly discloses that he has some shirtless songs and scenes and shows more skin than the girls in the film. We are sure his fans aren’t complaining.

This is evident from the recent episodes that took place at the promotional campaigns for the movie. While in one instance, girls bought the roof down of a mall when Imran entered, in a different event, a fan bit Imran’s hand when she could not get enough of him and the guards had to pull her away.

Imran Khan who is reinventing his looks with each film says he gets bored with similar kind of roles, so he explores. “I’m not comfortable with repeating myself. So, I try to go for fresh look each time. I’m being offered different roles also, since a lot of new filmmakers are entering film industry”, he confessed.

After IHLS, next in the pipeline are the much-awaited Abhinay Deo’s Delhi Belly and Danish Aslam’s Break Ke Baad, both movies scheduled to release later this year.
