Karan Johar is putting the spotlight on one of the best voices in music today, Faheem Abdullah. The singer has lent his vocals to the film Chand Mere Dil for two songs, ‘Chand Mera Dil’ and ‘Aitbaar’, which have caught the attention and applause of fans and music lovers alike. Sharing behind-the-scenes videos from the studio, Karan, in a heartfelt Instagram post, offered a glimpse into the making of the film’s title track, capturing Faheem in his element as he records the song.
In his caption, Karan shared that there couldn’t have been a more fitting voice for the film’s heartfelt melodies. The post reflects the deep emotional core of the music and the impact Faheem brings to it, highlighting the trust the makers have placed in him to carry the album’s soul.
Sharing the BTS moment, Karan Johar wrote, “When you hear his voice…it pierces through your soul and heart and leaves you feeling everything at once. Faheem is that voice…he’s given our song Chand Mera Dil, as you can see…his EVERYTHING! It’s been such a wonderful journey working with him, seeing him weave his magic and sing it too! He’s also sung ‘Aitbaar’ for our film, and there’s no voice that suited better for our heart-aching melody. Take some time, listen to it, and let it move you as it moved me…. Lots and lots of love to you, Faheem Abdullah, with this voice you’ll be the chand of every dil!!”
We wholeheartedly agree: Faheem Abdullah’s vocals on both tracks are brilliant. Full of feeling, depth, and the perfect notes. He is the voice for these tracks and is emerging as a defining sound of the film’s music. While ‘Chand Mera Dil’ leans into a softer, more intimate expression of love, ‘Aitbaar’ explores a more intense, aching emotional space, and Faheem’s voice bridges both worlds with remarkable ease.
