A report on Sunday claimed that Kriti Sanon would be joining Varun Dhawan for a “special song” in David Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai … so special that Ms Sanon doesn’t know about it!
When I reached out to Kriti Sanon, she very firmly refuted the report saying, “No I am not (doing the song)… Not True, Sir.”
The film’s producer Ramesh Taurani also confirmed that there is no special or non-special appearance by Kriti in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
So the question is, where did the rumour come from? Of late Dhawan’s film is under scrutiny for its insensitive use of AI-generated toddlers as promotional ploy. Bringing Kriti Sanon into the picture seems like a not so devious distracting device.
