Director Kunal Kohli is known for his love stories and for his next film he is continuing that down the romantic path but taking it one step further. Because his new film, which stars Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor will be a period piece romance that spans over a 100 years.
Kunal himself confirmed this when talking about scouting locations for the film, “I am currently doing a recce for the film. We have to zero down on various locations, as the movie covers 100 years.” We do know some of the locations he looked at were in Chandigarh, Patiala and Ludhiana but the final locations are still to be determined.
What the story will be is still under wraps, but a source told TOI, “This has a very different script dealing with the concept of eternal love. Priyanka loved the script the very moment she heard it.”
The director is currently at work on the music for the film and has begun music sittings with composer Pritam. He tweeted, “Started music sittings with Pritam today for my film with Shahid & Priyanka. Lyrics will be by Prasoon.”
As for at title, well that is still in the works, “A period love story needs to have the correct title. I haven’t finalised on any as yet. I would love some suggestions; it would certainly make it easier for me.”
