Manoj Bajpayee seems to be taking on an unprecedented volume of work. He has just wrapped up work on Ram Gopal Varma’s Police Station Mein Bhoot and the controversial Ghuskhor Pandat, and he is already on to another project: this time a high-voltage political drama entitled Governor directed by Chinmay Madlekar, where he will co-star with Adah Sharma for the first time.
Though the film’s theme is under wraps, this writer has come to know the film is based on a true-life political controversial figure. The makers are currently in two minds as whether to name the real-life politician or fictionalize him, as naming real-life figure often leads to legal hassles.
