India’s largest fashion footwear brand – Metro Shoes reinvents itself with the launch of its revolutionary campaign ‘Shoes for a New Race’, a range that embodies the attitude and the spunk of the youth.
To announce this new positioning, an innovative event was conceptualized, a press conference in a chat show format! This conference was hosted by the high-priestess of radio, RJ Malishka, while the bindaas Kalki Koechlin, the spontaneous Varun Dhawan and the fearless Rannvijay, who are the embodiment of the new philosophy, unveiled ‘Shoes for a New Race’.
Speaking on the campaign, Varun said, “I am very proud to say that Metro is an Indian brand, these shoes can compete with any global brand. They’ve diversified, now they’ve got shoes for all occasions, for all kinds of people.”
Actress Kalki Koelchin echoed Varun’s words – “I associate myself with something that I think is new and exciting. Also, that the brand Metro is reliable and one that we’ve heard a lot about since childhood. Now that they are trying to revamp I think they have done a great job with these shoes.”

So I like it that I wear shoes that are comfortable as well as stylish, reliable and can be used for anything that I want to do – party, go biking.
