“I dont care”, was how Nikhil Dwivedi reacted when he was asked about how he felt about Ekta Kapoor’s recent diktat on his honeymoon trip. Nikhil was to go to Capetown in South Africa with wife Gauri. The childhood sweethearts had tied the knot recently.
But Ekta Kapoor, the producer of his upcoming film, Shor In The City asked him to stay back for the promotion of the movie. Since Nikhil plays one of the lead roles, Ekta wanted him to be part of the promotions that’s picked up pace recently.
“We had a discussion about the trip and Gauri had no issues with. She understands. So I don’t care if the honeymoon has got cancelled. It will happen some other day. Shor is ready for release and now it is first on my priority list.”
Shor is up for release next week and the movie has already garnered a positive response from trade circles, which is why Ekta wants the core team to be present for the promotions.
There’s already some Shor in the city!
