It was recently reported in an Indian tabloid that Anuksha Sharma has signed to star opposite Salman Khan in a film by Sooraj Barjatya (Hum Saath Saath Hain). Though fans may be excited for the fab pairing, the news is untrue and in fact Anushka has not even been approached for the film.
According to a official press statement BollySpice received, “We would like you to know that the makers have not reached out to Anushka or anyone from the team as yet,so the question of her signing the film does not arise.”
Anushka is currently filming Rajkumar Hirani’s Peekay with Aamir Khan and also has Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet with Ranbir Kapoor next on her list of new films.
