Manish Malhotra14The new YRF favourite Parineeti Chopra flew to the UK to walk the ramp for Manish Malhotra’s charity fundraiser in London on Saturday, 23rd February, in aid of The Angeli Foundation.

The 24-year-old Ishaqzaade star spoke to Bollywood reporter Sunny Malik, ahead of the show and revealed that she turned down not one or two, but three films opposite new Btown heartthrob Varun Dhawan, who made his debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year.

While it was rumored that Parineeti was impressed with Varun Dhawan’s performance in Student Of The Year and asked common friends for his number, the two actors have not been signed for a film, yet. However, Karan Johar has signed his other debutant, Sidharth Malhotra opposite Parineeti in Hasee Toh Phasee.

When asked why she has not been paired opposite Dhawan yet, Chopra said, “I was offered, I think maybe, three films with Varun (Dhawan). The films were either clashing with other films or there were scripts, I did not want to be a part of at that point of time. None of the films happened but I was paired with Sid (Sidharth Malhotra). As I was signed for the film before him, I was very excited when I heard that he came on board because it is a great script. I wanted to work with Dharma Productions, obviously. Everything is working out.”

“But I really want to work with Varun. I think, he and I share this energy as people. It will be a lot of fun working with him on set,” added Chopra.
