According to trade figures, the film had made 207.4 crores (305 crore gross) in India until Monday, followed by a further 14.2 million dollars (93.7 crores gross) in the overseas market reaching a total of 398.7 crore globally. The family entertainer starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor was seen trending nationally on social networking site Twitter, and has become the highest ever grossing Diwali movie.
