Mere Haule DostFingerchop Film’s Mere Haule Dost will be released under PVR Director’s rare release on June 7th, 2013 in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Pune. Additionally, it was premiered at the London Asian Film Festival on March 12th.

Mere Haule Dost is a fun and quirky ride set against the backdrop of lives of five laid-back friends in the city of Hyderabad. A film for young adults, it is a journey of friendship, girls, parties, bikes, madness and their thrill for the Himalayan bike rally. A group of five friends from Hyderabad prepare for a road trip and the journey of a lifetime. The college buddies decide to take part in the Himalayan bike rally; the catch is that they are down on money and luck. Their families have largely disowned them, their benefactors are tired of their constant demands for cash, and their love lives are a mess. Starring an entire cast of amateurs who’ve never faced the camera before, the cast includes Raghuvardhan Garlapati, Aadil Abedi, Rishit Samala, Kiran Gadalay, Preeti Gupta, Catherine Fallows, Zainab Lax, Yantisha Singh, Harika Vedula, Babita Punetha, Natasha Pamnani and Anand Natesh.

As would have been misconstrued, the title doesn’t translate to My Slow Friends, but My Self-Deluded Friend. Haule is pronounced hau-lay which means crazy, idiot, mad, lost, it’s a Hyderabadi slang clarifies the debutant director Nitin Raghunath. The 102-minute Hindi Indie is autobiographical, as first features often tend to be. Mere Haule Dost was shot over a month in Hyderabad in July and financed through the savings of director Raghunath and his co-producer, Pramida Posanipalli, along with support from investors and friends.
