Eros International Media Limited (Eros International) has announced a very promising opening of Rs. 31.5 crore gross worldwide for Raanjhanaa which released worldwide on 21st June. Produced and distributed by Eros International, the love saga stars National Award winning south actor Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles and is directed by Aanand L. Rai.
In its opening weekend, the film grossed Rs. 26.5 crore in India (Net collection: Rs. 20.08 crore) and Rs. 5 crore overseas. It released across 1400 screens in India and 220 plus screens overseas. An unconventional take on love, Raanjhanaa has received unanimous thumbs up from both critics and audiences globally and continues to be applauded by the masses.
