Everyday new ideas are born in Bollywood to promote movies. After Shah Rukh Khan announced he wanted to create a video game for his upcoming film Ra.One, Saif Ali Khan is eyeing to do the same for his film Agent Vinod.

The promotions of the movie will start in April 2011 with the launch of this PlayStation game and a comic book on Agent Vinod. Both the game and the comic will have some characters, which may not exist in the movie.

The actor has teamed up with Trine Animation and Gaming Studio’s game creator Sangam Gupta to create an Agent Vinod game for playstation. Sangam Gupta has already developed several games, including ‘Wii Yoga’, ‘Gothic 3’ and soon-to-release ‘Street Cricket’. Saif is a game freak himself and his favorites are ‘Half Life’ and ‘Quake for PS2’.

Gupta discussing this idea with Saif for the last three weeks. He showed Saif one of his favorites called ‘Uncharted 2: Among Thieves’, which like the star’s movie, revolves around a secret service agent on a treasure hunt. Gupta was quoted stating that Saif loved the game. They are planning to come out with a shooter game in that line.

Bollywood is definitely coming up with innovative ideas to attract the young audiences.
