Maa Inti Bangaaram, starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu has officially crossed the ₹100 crore mark worldwide. The action-thriller has rewritten box office history by becoming the first-ever female-led Telugu film to reach the coveted ₹100 crore milestone globally. It is the first Telugu film with a solo female lead to enter the ₹100 crore club.
Within its first ten days, it surpassed the 17-year-old record of Anushka Shetty’s Arundhati to become the highest-grossing women-led Telugu film of all time. The film has yielded an outstanding 300% return on its budget.
Responding to the historic collections director Nandini Reddy says, “The idea was to showcase Samantha in her most loved way and that has been the success of the film. It’s a tribute to her 15 year journey with the Telugu audience. I did my best.”
