India’s renowned music company and film production house – Saregama India, recently acquired the music rights of the film – No One Killed Jessica. Saregama, known for it’s ‘hatke’ music, have newly launched one of the songs from the film called – ‘Aali Re’.

The music of the film has been given by none other than by the fabulous Amit Trivedi, who previously gave us the outstanding music for Dev D and Aisha.

The song has already become a rage and is busy creating a huge buzz in the media. On hearing the song, one does get a feeling of rebelliousness, of course with a cause. The entire theme of the song gels very well with the visuals, courtesy – Amit Trivedi, who is brilliant at churning out music, especially for the youth. The song is based on Rani Mukherjee’s character in the film.

At a special media press conference held for ‘Aali Re’, Adarsh Gupta, Head of Music, Saregama India ltd said, “The music of the film is simply superb. It is extremely earthy and yet contemporary. I am sure it will give our listeners something extra as the song is extremely edgy, brash and peppy. The entire feel to the music is young and never heard before.”

Rani Mukherjee, Amit Trivedi and the films producer – UTV – attended the launch of the song, along with Adarsh Gupta. Rani seemed extremely jovial after coming back from London, as she happily cracked a few jokes with the media. Rani Mukherjee put Amit Trivedi, a man of few words, at ease by referring to him as the “Star of the Evening”. Post which, Amit expressed his thoughts on the film’s music.

The film’s music surely is going to be a rage amongst the younger audiences.
