Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif were mobbed by fans in London last night despite heavy security.

BollySpice can exclusively report that the two actors were filming scenes for Yash Chopra’s upcoming directorial in the city at four different locations for the first day of the five week schedule.

While the filming at Borough Market and Hay’s Galleria went smootly, Khan and Kaif were mobbed by fans after they completed filming at London City Bridge.

As the duo were filming for the upcoming Yash Raj Film, crowds started to gather on Southbank. While security guards kept fans away during the shoot, the crowd was out of control when the actors left to get to their cars.

A source working on the film revealed to BollySpice: “Shah Rukh and Katrina shot in two locations before on the first day but we did not have any issues there. Fans were asking Shah Rukh for pictures but as he is not allowed to take any pictures in the costumes from the film, he could not do much. Fans started to follow him to his car, flashed cameras in his face and due to the uncontrollable situation, he was also pushed by some fans.”

The source went further on to add how Katrina Kaif was mobbed by fans: “Katrina left before Shah Rukh and quickly got into her car. However, the fans who followed Shah Rukh were stopped by security at one point and started running towards Katrina’s car. They started to take pictures of her sitting in the car and only stopped when her bodyguard intervened.”

The actors reportedly drove to the fourth location, Bethanl Green in East-London to shoot more scenes. The first day of the shoot in London was wrapped up at 1 am in the morning.

Yash Raj Films have now hired more security for the actors and crew members.
