The King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan is said to be over joyed with the response Chennai Express has received in just under three days of release! Sharing his thoughts on a social networking site the veteran actor expressed his gratitude and felt it was important to celebrate with his fans this Eid, tweeting: ‘Time to go out & meet all…loving the film #ChennaiExpress. Have a good one everyone. Achkan and Lungi time beckons’.
In fact, Shah Rukh wanted to have his nearest and dearest beside him on this joyous occasion, thus gathered his wife Gauri, sister Shehnaz and two children Aryan and Suhana to join in the public affair. The family stood together peering over their residential home in Mumbai and waved at thousands of well wishers on the auspicious day.
Speaking with a leading media source, the 47 year old gleefully said, ‘Eid Mubarak! It’s a very happy day. I like to celebrate my birthday and Eid with you all. I am here just to wish you’. Shah Rukh also stressed that he believes in the importance of celebrating with both his beloved family and fans because he is what he is today because of them all.
It’s fantastic to see the Baadshah of Bollywood not only exuberant about the festival but keen to celebrate Eid with those people such celebrations would be incomplete without! Although Shah Rukh expressed on the social networking site that both his children Aryan and Suhana felt somewhat embarrassed with making a public appearance, the family nevertheless stood together in unity to humbly thank their supporting fans.
Here’s wishing the family an Eid Mubarak too!
