If recent news reports are to be believed, then Siddharth might be seen in veteran Shyam Benegal’s next movie. As BollySpice had reported earlier, Sid had ‘tweeted’ that his next hindi movie will be announced soon and insiders believe that it most probably is with Benegal. Benegal, who last gave us the lovely Welcome To Sajjanpur, may very well come up with a gem this time as well.
Meanwhile, Siddy boy is busy pursuing his other passion – Music. Having had a Carnatic music training in his childhood, Sid is pretty well versed with the nuances of this art. And he is grateful to his parents for giving him a wide exposure to music; from classical to jazz to pop to rock and what not. Siddharth, who had formed a band in college, has decided to brush up his music skills again which is why he has set up a personal studio. And yes, his compositions will be private as he prefers not to restrict his music by the audience. Counting Charlie Parker, Mike Davis, A.R.Rahman and Illairaja as his all time influences, he says that the important lesson he has learned from music is to be fearless. And it gives him a chance to be creative. He says, “As an actor, my job is very inclusive, meeting the same people repeatedly. By pursuing something I love, I get to express myself through a new medium. It’s an expression of dialogue and melody.”
Looks like this multi-talented star is planning to give the music directors of Bollywood a run for their money!
