I have sat there for what seems like an age trying to find out the meaning of Ra.1 – and the last place I expected to find the answer was Wikipedia. Ra.1 according to Mr Khan means “Random Access – Version 1.0” I wouldn’t have guessed that in a million years. A science-fiction film that sees our baadshah Khan cast as a superhero and brings together Kapoor and Khan for the first time since their 2001 release Asoka with Arjun Rampal returning to a negative role.
With songs by Akon and reported breathtaking stunts Ra. 1 will see Khan gracing the screen in a lead role since the 2010 release My Name is Khan.

The “are they, aren’t they” seems to be continuing with this film. All my sources seem to be in a quandary about the release of this film. Some say that Aamir Khan is doing the film, Some say it is Shah Rukh Khan. Others aren’t even sure if it is going ahead. It is down as a 2011 release, though only the director and his team knows the truth behind that at this moment in time.
Hera Pheri 3
They are supposed to be back again, and normally Priyadarshan doesn’t disappoint. However, not much is known about the release of this film. If it happens – Fantastic. It is another Priyadarshan comedy to look forward too. If it doesn’t don’t worry. This is Priyadarshan we are talking about. One of his releases cannot be far behind.
Most Wanted
Following on from the success of 2009 release Wanted – Boney Kapoor decided a sequel could be made – thus the birth of Most Wanted. With Salman Khan back in the starring role, rumors are that Ayesha Thakia has been replaced by Asin who was initially approached by director Prabhudeva for Wanted. They have high expectations to meet with a sequel to Wanted – lets hope they meet them.
Partner 2
A sequel to the 2007 release Partner, sees David Dhawan, Salman Khan and Govinda coming together again. Originally a 2010 release an accidental cancellation of shooting dates saw the release of this film get pushed back by a year. With Khan and Govinda back in their roles from Partner, the female leads are yet to be confirmed. Either way – this is one to keep your eyes open for.
Race 2
The fourth biggest Bollywood hit of 2008. It is little surprise that directors Abbas – Mastan are also jumping on the Sequel Bandwagon. With rumours that Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, Asin and Deepika Padukone have already been signed, the film is said to be in pre-production. All that waits to be seen is a release date.
