Sonal Chauhan, the hot Jannat girl, graces the front cover of The Man magazine this month as she relaunches her career in Bollywood. The former Miss World Tourism has been sharpening her acting skills in the south in Rainbow opposite Rahul and Cheluveye Ninna Nodalu with Shivraj Kumar. She was particularly pleased with the latter. “The first thing Raghu Ram, the director, told me was that a senior artist like Shivaraj Kumar had appreciated my performance in Jannat,” she says, “That was a very big compliment to me. Later when I heard the story of the film I felt very happy that the right opportunity had knocked at my doors.”
Now Sonal feels ready to hit B-town once again and is currently working on Owais Hussein’s Punjab 69 and is loving her transition from model to actress. “As a model, life is good but as an actor you live a larger than life experience and it is better,” she explains, “Since my first film released on my birthday I believe it was the best birthday gift I could get.”
Sonal is known for staying single, so what type of man do you have to be to attract her? “Yes, I am single,” she confirms, “I believe in soul mates. If there is something like soul mates I would like to find mine. They say that if you look into a person’s eyes then you will know it is him.”
