The inspirational sports drama Toofaan is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. The critically acclaimed film directed by the great Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra features an all-star cast, led by Farhan Akhtar along with Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak Kapur, Hussain Dalal, Dr. Mohan Agashe, Darshan Kumaar, and Vijay Raaz.
Toofaan brings alive the exhilarating nature of boxing as a sport and tells a riveting tale that follows the journey of a street fighter to a competitive boxer as he navigates through the ups and downs of life to achieve his dreams. An orphan boy born from the streets of Dongri grows up to be a local goon Ajju Bhai (Farhan Akhtar). His life changes when he meets a bright and compassionate young doctor named Ananya (Mrunal Thakur) whose belief in him motivates him to find his passion as he embarks on his journey to becoming Aziz Ali, a boxing champion. It is a story about resilience, passion, and perseverance, and the drive to succeed.
Last week before the premiere of the Toofaan stars Farhan Akhtar, Mrunal Thakur, producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra took part in a very special virtual press conference and Q&A answering in detail about the making of Toofaan and so much more.
