Shah Rukh Khan’s wax figure will soon be seen alongside the likes of Jackie Chan, Harrison Ford and Johnny Depp for three months. It will be on loan from London’s Madam Tussauds wax museum where it has been on display since April 2007.

Bret Pidgeon, general manager of Madam Tussauds Hong Kong and Shanghai said in a statement that the museum in Hong Kong has been attracting Indian tourists in the last two years. “While these guests enjoy meeting our unique collection of 100 international celebrities and world leaders, we are delighted to have Khan join our attraction,” he said.

Last year, the museum featured the wax figure of Amitabh Bachchan. Pidgeon added that since the megastar’s display was a success, they hope that Khan’s figure will be just as popular with Hong Kong’s Indian community as well as tourists from abroad.

Shah Rukh’s figure will feature in the World Premiere section in Hong Kong’s Madam Tussauds until July 21.
