There was buzz in Bollywood that after working with superstars, famed director Priyadarshan was keen on making a film with all newcomers. But now the buzz is that Sunny Singh (of Dekh Bhai Dekh fame & recently seen in the film Paathshala), the famous award winning child artist who is all grown up will be launched as the lead actor in the film directed by Priyadarshan himself.
“Who says dreams doesn’t come true. When I was training at my gym once my trainer had asked me what I wanted to do in the future… I said… I want to be launched by Priyan sir someday, at that time I had never even met him and now… four years later, I am actually being launched by him, my dream has come true!” says Sunny Singh who is very excited with the project.
On how Priyadarshan zeroed on Sunny Singh, Priyan adds “One day I was discussing a film idea for which I wanted fresh faces with Krishen Kumar and he suggested I have a look at Sunny. After meeting Sunny twice on the sets, I decided to cast him as he suited the role to the T.”
