She seems to have been away from the spotlight for a while, but former Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen, brings her sexy avatar back to the big screen in the latest Govinda comedy Do Knot Disturb. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and new comedy queen Lara Dutta. Sushmita is determined not to disappoint her fans who have been waiting faithfully for her. “I am making sure that I do only commercial films as I don’t want to waste time doing anything else other than what is saleable and what can give my audiences something to see after such a long wait of not seeing me as an actor,” she explained.
Sushmita recently confirmed that she has no plans for marriage but liked the idea. “If a man can afford me, I’ll definitely do that,” she said. Sushmita has in the past been linked to actor Randeep Hooda.
But it’s not just her marriage plans that are on hold. She has long held the dream of making a movie about freedom fighter Rani Laxmi Bai but has had to park the project until she can raise the funds. “Rani Laxmi Bai, my home production, is indefinitely on hold till I have the funds to make the film the way I want to,” she confirmed, “Laxmi Bai to me is a dream, it’s not just a film. So I can’t compromise with it at all. The script, the storyboard, everything is ready…it’s just a matter of putting in the money now and making the film.”
