It is being reported that Talaash is a box office success and the film has managed to collect an impressive RS. 67 Crores during its first week of release at the Indian box office. Starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji, Talaash is doing great business so far and it has dominated around 65% of multiplexes and 30% single screens in India. It did very well during its opening weekend and collected over RS. 47 Crores. However, it failed to topple Aamir’s last film 3 Idiots (2009) which had a much stronger opening.
At the overseas level, Box Office India has declared that Talaash is the biggest Aamir Khan opener to date and has collected impressive sums in countries such as the United Kingdom, USA, UAE and Australia. Trade experts predict that the film will cross the famous 100 Crore mark by its second week.
