These are Happy Days indeed for Tamanna, the Mumbai-born South Indian actress carving a niche for herself, following the success of the eponymous movie opposite Varun Sandesh. The movie was generally seen as one of the best Tollywood movies of the year with Tamanna Bhatia bringing a breath of fresh air to the cinemas of the south. Now, every boy’s favourite 18-year-old girl next door, who is studying for her BA, has a whole host of interesting productions lined up in the next year.

These include Ananda Tandavam, which also stars Siddharth, the intriguing Ayan with Surya Sivakumar and Padikathavan,which also features Dhanush.

She rates amongst her favourite films Erin Brockovich and Mughal-e-Azam and has clear ideas about the type of roles she prefers, “I don’t have any dream roles. But I prefer performance oriented roles and I love acting,” she said
