Three years ago, two of the legendary heroes of all times came out in the open and confessed their hatred for each other and since then consistency knew no bounds. Like juvenile kids who still hold grudges, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan completely avoid each other be it at any social event or a common film set.

Recently at Filmistan Studios in Goregaon, friends-turned-foes Shah Rukh and Salman were shooting for their respective projects. The whole Bodyguard unit, from the crew members to the spot boys, were scared as they expected a tense confrontation and didn’t know what to do or where to go. Fortunately, that never took place as the warring actors kept to their vans.

A source said, “Salman has been shooting for Atul and Alvira Agnihotri’s Bodyguard for the last few days in Filmistan on the the third floor. SRK began shooting on the first floor. Sallu was shooting a crucial scene and so SRK’s entry had everyone on the Bodyguard sets on tenterhooks.” Adds the source, “It was all fun for the Bodyguard unit and the shoot was moving along smoothly. SRK’s visit made them go into a tense huddle though shooting continued as normally as before. No one knew how Salman would react to his dushman being in the vicinity.”

Atul Agnihotri, the producer of Bodyguard, and SRK’s friendship goes way back. It was expected that Shah Rukh would drop in to meet Atul on the sets, but that didn’t happen. SRK left his van, shot his scenes and again went back into his van, quite like Salman. Although the latter is known to sit outside his van chatting with his friends and people who drop in to meet him. The Bodyguard unit finally heaved a sigh of relief after Shah Rukh left around midnight.

It’s been an open secret that the two actors haven’t made their peace since a feud that began at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party three years ago. As per the local news paper of a Mumbai, Salman was high when Shah Rukh entered the party with Gauri. Salman was not already happy with Shah Rukh as he had then denied a guest appearance in Salman’s movie Main Aur Mrs. Khanna, although Sallu, had readily agreed to shoot for the ensemble starcast song for SRK’s Om Shanti Om. Conversations were happening in full swing and all was well until Salman mocked the other Khan saying his show ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se TezzHai’ was as big a failure as his films. Initially Shah Rukh took it as fun but later on the atmosphere got heated up when Salman even said that he will beat Shah Rukh. Being aggressive, Shah Rukh replied that he will beat him in his party. It was almost a physical fight but Gauri stepped in just in time and said she wanted to leave. Both Shah Rukh and Gauri left the party.

This famous duo, known to have given hits like Karan Arjun and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai seem to be extremely comfortable in their own spaces and leave no stone unturned to outdo each other be it in films, TV shows or public appearances. Some disputes are not meant to be resolved and probably this is the biggest example.
