3. Aamir Khan
Aamir was a three in one this year, as he played the role of actor, director, and producer- all for the same film. Taare Zameen Par has become a landmark film in our industry and it is because Aamir has his fingerprints all over it. Although, he was involved in only one film this year, it was, arguably, the best film this year. Aamir acted effortlessly as always, but it was his direction that caught everyone by surprise. Aamir showed that he is fully capable of being one of the top most directors in our industry and it just goes to show how much of an impact he is having in the industry. Other than that, he was in the news for the ailment and treatment of his mentally ill brother, which was perhaps the only low point for him this year. Aamir known for only doing one film at a time, has only one film lined up for 2008. It is the remake to Ghajini.
