Om Shanti Om was the year’s biggest blockbuster and a life changing career choice for 21 year old Deepika Padukone. Not only did she debut with one of the reigning producing houses, Red Chillies, but also debuted with the King Khan herself. She made her presence felt and set the screen on fire (literally). Some may argue that she didn’t have enough screen space in OSO, however, this hasn’t affected her fan following in the slightest bit. A fan following that takes many actresses years to accumulate. Deepika Padukone is under the watchful eyes of the whole world as she enters the world of cinema.
