3. I Hate Luv Storys
While the plot was rather cheesy, it worked. I Hate Luv Storys saw a new director, Punit Malhotra, take on the topic of modern love with a brand new pair, Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan. With a rather fun and spoofy look at love and Hindi movies, IHLS worked with the younger audiences simply because the film housed typical Dharma Productions criterion: great music, exquisite locales and a fun star cast. Critically, the film really housed flaws but on a popularity level, it worked and how.
