It is a well known fact tha behind most Bollywood songs, there is an incredible playback singer creating magic. However, occasionally the song is actually sung by the actor and it is always a treat. For Jigra, the relatively new actor Vedang Raina, not only had to play a very intense role, but he also sang three songs! The first one has been released and it is brilliant.
Titled ‘Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka’ its soulful melody and the beautifully performed rendition by Vendang is excellent. Representing the deep bond between siblings the song reflects resilience and inner strength, capturing the emotional core of Jigra, while blending poetic lyrics with soulful melodies. It evokes the timeless essence of love and affection.
With lyrics by Varun Grover and soulful composition by Achint, ‘Phoolan Ka Taaro Ka’ is a reimagined version of the of the classic RD Burman, with lyrics by Anand Bakshi, song of the same name sung by Kishore Kumar from the 1971 classic Haré Rama Haré Krishna.
Vedang Raina’s hauntingly beautiful vocals breathe life into the composition, his ability to convey raw emotion through his singing has been praised widely, and Phoolan Ka Taaro Ka is no exception. With this song, he delivers a heartfelt performance.
