One of the film’s we have our eye on is the Vidya Balan starred Tumhari Sulu. In the contemporary dra-medy Vidya Balan will play the lead, Sulochana, fondly known as Sulu. Sulu lands herself an unexpected job of a beautiful, fun and feisty RJ who anchors a late-night show, known for its voyeuristic quality and semi-adult shenanigans.

Talking about her role Vidya told us, “I play a late night radio jockey. I think that is going to be fun. It is going to see the naughty side of me in that. I can’t wait for that because I think it has been a while since smiled or laughed in a film. I’ve been doing intense stuff for a while.”

The film also stars theatre ace Manav Kaul who will play Sulu’s husband, Neha Dhupia who will essay the role of a radio boss, and RJ Malishka who will make her Bollywood debut with the film as a radio jockey. The quirky slice-of-life comedy, is directed by noted ad filmmaker Suresh Triveni.

After 2 months, the film has wrapped and it seems the cast and crew had an amazing time on set during the shoot of the film. In fact Vidya posted to the director, “Thank you for the most unique, exceptional, blessed, love-filled experience called TUMHARI SULU.”

Picture 2 on 17.06.17.: #TumhariSulu is my second #film with #VidyaBalan , the first being #TheDirtyPicture . I've known her for more than 5 years. Words fail to describe what I feel for her. As an actress, she spoils you with her professionalism, sincerity and passion. As a human being, she is loving, emotional and gracious. With 3 days left to wrap #shooting , I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms already. This has truly been one of the happiest and most fulfilling journies. I'd live it again and again if it were possible. A big, big thank you @balanvidya for being inimitable. They don't call you THE BEST for nothing. My Silk and Sulu, now and forever. ??? ——————————————————————————————– #Bollywood #film #Instabollywood #tseries #ellipsisentertainment
