Ritu Kumar needs no introduction; she has been in the fashion industry for over 30 years and opened up the first ever boutique in Delhi. Ritu is best known for incorporating traditional Indian crafts into contemporary designs. Ritu has dressed personalities from both Bollywood and overseas such as Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Jemima Khan and Princess Lady Diana, as well as designing the wardrobe for the winning Miss Indias.
Ritu Kumar’s design aesthetic however is different to that of Dior’s and although she does design western attire I cannot see it appealing to the clientele of Dior.
