Rohit Bal

Rohit Bal known as the Bad Boy of Indian fashion has had a successful career spanning over 10 years. Rohit has not only showed his collections at Lakme Fashion week but has also had successful fashion shows in New York, London, Paris and Dubai, to name a few. Celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Uma Thurman, Pamela Anderson, Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford have all worn Rohit Bal creations. The versatile designer, who does not stick to one signature style can go from designing a beautiful sari, think back to the sari Deepika Padukone wore to Cannes, to a show stopping, extravagant collection.

I think that Rohit Bal does have what it takes to head Dior due to his past experiences and skills. With his list of international celebrity clientele he has proved that his designs cater to international tastes; I can see him fitting into John Galliano’s old role nicely.
