Costumes play a very important role in the process of filmmaking. If we look back at decades we have moved from Indian wear to western wear, the good girl costume to the bad girl costume, from what not to wear to what to wear. This December, Women in Film and Television Association India, WIFT India in association with P.N.Gadgil and SOCH is organizing a special session with three of the best designers, Neeta Lulla, Gavin Miguel and Niharika Bhasin Khan to discuss “Does the costume define the character”. The session will be moderated by Sarah Jane Dias.

Neeta Lulla, National film award for Best Costume design in Balgandharva and Jodha Akbar,Lamhe, Dev Das  Niharika Khan, National award winner for Best Costume design in The Dirty picture, and Gavin Miguel, attributed to styling Priyanka Chopra, HrithikRoshan, Katrina Kaif, Shahrukh Khan and Kangana Ranaut in Krrish3 many other, will discuss how the Hindi film industry has always been a source of inspiration when it comes to fashion.
