Controversy’s favorite blue-eyed boy has found himself entangled in another one lately. Yes, we are referring to the one and only Salman Khan, who, despite recent attempts to maintain a clean image, has found himself on the wrong side of the law yet again.

This time around, he has been accused of illegal purchasing of around 2.5 acres of the land at a tiny village in Panvel, Mumbai. It is being reported that Salman, who is now the co-owner of the property along with another Congress politician, has unknowingly bought the land that in reality belongs to the villagers and cannot be part of any sale. The said land was given by the government to the villagers for agricultural, cultivation purposes. When the villagers were tipped off this trade, they marched to the panchayat (local village head) and complained of being conned into parting with the property.

Salman, who is currently busy with the promotions of his Friday release Ready, hasn’t commented on this news so far. The Collector’s Office has ordered an enquiry into the matter, and to check if the deal should be cancelled.
