1. I Hate Luv Storys

I personally love each and every song on the IHLS soundtrack and it seems that each and every song was a hit with fans too. This album was a breath of fresh air and Vishal-Shekhar composed songs exuding a new hip beat and flavor. Right away, from the very first listen we knew these would become tracks we would play again and again and again. Then, once you saw them in the context of the film the magic got even better, remember the classic scenes and picturisations for Bahara and Sadka? The adorable hook step for the title song? The happy Jab Mila Tu? Awesome!! Every song is a favorite and they all got added to our “Fab Bollysongs” playlist! It was our pick for number one album when we looked at the first six months of 2010 and there was no question in our minds that IHLS would be our number one soundtrack again. It was fresh, it was perfectly matched to the story and vibe of the film and it made us smile, chill and naach!

We also have to give special mention to three other albums that blew us away Pankh, Peepli Live, and Ishqiya.

With all the changes in the music of films over 2010 we can’t wait to hear what the music directors, lyricists, musicians and singers have in store for us in 2011.
